Welcome.
Community Buys are designed to help local communities purchase together while supporting local businesses.
By joining a Community Buy, you agree to these Community Buy Terms.
By clicking Join Community Buy, Confirm Order or completing your purchase, you confirm that:
Community Buys are designed to help local communities combine their purchasing power while supporting local businesses.
Each Community Buy has a minimum order quantity (MOQ) and a closing date.
If the advertised minimum order quantity is reached before the closing date:
If the minimum order quantity is not reached:
Community Buy prices are determined by the supplier.
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable unless otherwise stated.
Any delivery, collection or additional charges will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
Payments are securely processed through the SayCooee platform.
Community Buys are different from traditional online shopping.
Unlike a standard retail purchase, suppliers often order stock, harvest produce, prepare products or schedule staff specifically to fulfil confirmed Community Buys. They rely on the confirmed number of orders to determine how much product to purchase, prepare and deliver.
For this reason, once a Community Buy has been confirmed, your order becomes a commitment to purchase.
Confirmed orders generally cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded simply because you have changed your mind, unless:
By joining a Community Buy, you acknowledge that suppliers are relying on your commitment when preparing and fulfilling your order, and that this commitment helps keep Community Buys fair for everyone involved.
Occasionally circumstances outside a supplier's control may affect product availability.
Where this occurs, SayCooee and the supplier may:
Collection details will be provided before the Community Buy closes.
You are responsible for:
If you are unable to collect your order yourself, you may nominate another person to collect it on your behalf where permitted by the supplier.
By doing so, you authorise SayCooee and the supplier to release your order to your nominated representative.
Once your order has been collected by your nominated representative, it is deemed to have been collected by you.
Many Community Buys involve fresh or perishable products. Collection windows are important to maintain product quality and food safety.
If you are unable to collect your order during the advertised collection period, it is your responsibility to contact the supplier before the collection period closes to determine whether alternative arrangements are available.
Alternative arrangements are entirely at the supplier's discretion.
If an order is not collected within the advertised collection period and no alternative arrangements have been agreed, the supplier may dispose of, donate or otherwise deal with perishable goods after the collection period.
Refunds are generally not available for orders that are not collected, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Many Community Buys involve fresh, seasonal, handmade or locally produced goods.
Product photographs are provided as a guide only.
Reasonable variations in size, colour, appearance, packaging or presentation may occur and do not necessarily indicate a fault.
It is your responsibility to review product descriptions, allergen information and any storage or preparation instructions before placing an order.
If you have allergies, dietary requirements or other health concerns, please contact the supplier before joining the Community Buy if you require further information.
SayCooee facilitates Community Buys between customers and independent suppliers.
If your order is incorrect, damaged, unsafe or significantly different from its description, please contact SayCooee as soon as possible.
We will work with the supplier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Where a refund, replacement or other remedy is required under Australian Consumer Law, the supplier is responsible for providing that remedy.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
SayCooee operates the technology platform that enables Community Buys.
