We're committed to creating a safe, welcoming and trusted community for everyone. The following cannot be listed, requested, offered or promoted on SayCooee.
If a listing breaches these guidelines, we may edit, remove or decline the content, suspend the account or take any other action we consider necessary to protect our community.
1 Illegal Activities
Anything that breaches Australian law or encourages unlawful behaviour is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Stolen goods
- Counterfeit products
- Pirated software or media
- Identity fraud
- Illegal services
- Any activity intended to facilitate criminal behaviour
2 Weapons & Dangerous Items
- Firearms
- Ammunition
- Explosives
- Fireworks
- Prohibited weapons
- Dangerous chemicals
- Hazardous materials
- Poisons
- Any item intended to cause harm
3 Drugs, Alcohol & Tobacco
- Illegal drugs
- Controlled substances
- Drug paraphernalia
- Prescription medications
- Nicotine or vaping products
- Alcohol where prohibited by law
4 Adult Content & Services
SayCooee is a family-friendly platform. The following are prohibited:
- Adult services
- Pornographic content
- Sexually explicit material
- Escort services
5 Financial, Medical & Professional Services
Members must not offer services that require licences, registration or professional accreditation unless they are appropriately qualified and legally permitted to do so. Examples include:
- Medical treatment
- Financial advice
- Legal advice
- Investment opportunities
- Unlicensed childcare services
- Any service requiring mandatory licensing or registration
6 Child Safety
The safety of children is extremely important. Members must never use SayCooee to:
- Arrange unlawful childcare
- Circumvent Working With Children Check requirements
- Encourage children to meet unknown adults without the knowledge of a parent or guardian
Parents and guardians remain responsible for carrying out their own checks before engaging babysitters, tutors, carers or similar services.
7 Animals
Listings that breach animal welfare legislation or involve the illegal sale or trade of animals are not permitted.
8 Hate, Harassment & Abuse
We do not allow content that includes:
- Bullying
- Harassment
- Threats
- Hate speech
- Discrimination
- Violence
- Intimidation
9 Spam & Misleading Content
- Fake profiles
- Impersonating another person or business
- Misleading or false information
- Scam listings
- Pyramid schemes
- Multi-level marketing opportunities
- Repeated unsolicited advertising
10 Privacy
Do not publish another person's personal information without their permission. This includes:
- Home addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Financial information
- Any other private or confidential information
11 Unsafe Goods
We may remove listings involving goods that could reasonably present a safety risk, including:
- Recalled products
- Unsafe children's equipment
- Damaged electrical goods
- Hazardous items
12 Businesses & Suppliers
Businesses using SayCooee must:
- Provide accurate descriptions
- Comply with all relevant Australian laws
- Honour any commitments they make to members
13 Our Right to Remove Content
SayCooee reserves the right to edit, decline, suspend or remove any listing, account or content that:
- Breaches these Guidelines
- Breaches our Terms of Use
- Places members at risk
- Is misleading, deceptive or fraudulent
- Is offensive or inappropriate
- Is inconsistent with the values of the SayCooee community
- We reasonably believe should not appear on the platform, even if not specifically listed above
