Community Guidelines

SayCooee · Community Standards

SayCooee is built on a simple idea: stronger communities start with stronger connections.

Behind every Cooee is a real person. Please treat others with the same kindness, honesty and respect you'd like to receive.

Whether you're sharing a skill, looking for help, joining a Group Buy, supporting a local business or meeting people with similar interests, every Cooee helps bring neighbours closer together.

These guidelines exist to make sure SayCooee stays safe, welcoming and worth belonging to for everyone.

1 Our Community Values

We ask every member to:

2 Staying Safe

While many wonderful friendships and connections begin online, it's important to use common sense whenever connecting with someone for the first time.

Remember, you're always free to say no.

3 Swaps

Every swap is different. Members decide together what feels fair: whether you're swapping home-cooked meals for babysitting, gardening for tutoring or simply lending a ladder.

Communicate openly and agree on the details before proceeding.

4 Community Buys

Community Buys work because neighbours come together. Please:

5 Local Groups

Local Groups should be welcoming, inclusive and respectful. Please:

6 Businesses & Suppliers

Businesses, producers and suppliers are valued members of our community. Please provide accurate information, communicate honestly and deliver what you've promised.

7 How SayCooee Works

SayCooee introduces people. We don't negotiate, supervise or manage agreements between members. Members are responsible for making their own decisions, communicating clearly and determining what works best for everyone involved.

SayCooee does not verify the identity, qualifications, licences, references or background of members, businesses or suppliers unless expressly stated.

Please use common sense, ask questions and make decisions you're comfortable with.

Together, we're building something worth belonging to.
Communities where neighbours know each other, local businesses thrive and helping one another becomes part of everyday life. Thank you for being part of it.

If you believe a member has breached these Guidelines, or you experience behaviour that makes you feel unsafe, please report it to SayCooee.
